Tiffany from the Moneta Rescue Squad was asked why she volunteered, here is her why.
Getting involved with your local volunteer fire or rescue department is a worthwhile way to make a positive contribution to your community. Often times the people you end up helping are your neighbors, friends and family members. Volunteering is a rewarding way to provide a vital service for your community while becoming part of our Bedford County Fire & Rescue family of volunteers.
Your next step starts here!

Our volunteers come from all walks of life. We’re parents, retirees, students, and so much more- we fulfill our roles as volunteer firefighters and EMT’s to give our community peace of mind, offer skilled treatment of medical/trauma emergencies, and combat loss of life and property due to fire. Volunteering takes time. Everything worthwhile does. Our community is growing and so is the need for quality help.
If you have any questions about volunteering, contact us today at www.bcofr.com/contact and we would be happy to share more information!
